Foo Fighters announce their return to the UK

By Ben Tipple

Having been forced to cancel their recent UK shows due to a widely publicised injury in Sweden, Foo Fighters have now announced that they will return to the Milton Keynes Bowl on the 5th and 6th September.

“You have always stood by our band, and we will always stand by you,” iconic frontman Dave Grohl said when cancelling the recent shows. “Like I say at every show, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. And I mean that. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I will do everything I can to come back and give you a night to remember for the rest of your lives as soon as possible.”

Tickets for the new dates will go on pre-sale from Wednesday 15th July, and general release at 10AM on Friday 17th July.

Those with tickets for the cancelled Wembley Stadium shows will be offered an exclusive allocation.

Foo Fighters will be joined by Iggy Pop on both dates.
