Have a read: Band members day jobs blog

By Tom Aylott

A new blog focusing on the day jobs of guys in aspiring bands has been started, with posts early on from SHAPES‘ Gavin Filmer, HOLD YOUR HORSE IS‘ Chris Rouse and PARISO’s Mazz Gambardella.

It’s a great read for a Friday morning (when you’ve finished all your other tasks of course), so check it out when you can at http://bandmembersdayjobs.tumblr.com/.

If you’d like to get your band involved, you can see details of how to do that below:

“Hello people,

This is a new blog, where Iโ€™d like to show off the lengths that band members go to to play music for people up and down the UK.

Many people seem to have a mis-led view that people in bands, on the toilet circuit (and beyond) make enough to live and tour perpetually whereas this is, in many cases (99%), not true.

So here, I want to document what band members do for their day jobs and the efforts they go through to keep playing shows.
