THE LONDON INTERNATIONAL SKA FESTIVAL is to relaunch this year with a four day event taking place at the lavish Clapham Grand Theatre.

Headlining the event will be Jamaican legends Ken Boothe, Dave & Ansell Collins, and Bob Andy & Marcia Griffiths as well as 2 Tone heroes The English Beat (feat. Dave Wakeling). Alongside these will be a whole slew of talent spanning the past 40 years.

Event organiser Sean Flowerdew (of Pama Intl. fame) made this statement: “We are aiming to make this an annual event and showcase the finest global talent from the Jamaican originators and the rhythm and blues sounds that inspired them, through 2 Tone and up to date with 21st Century ska sounds.”

The festival takes place over the Easter weekend (Thursday 21 – Sunday 24 April).
