London upstarts Jerry Built are looking set to be one of the next big things on the UK scene, and are currently putting the finishing touches to their mini album.
The quartet, signed to Firefly Records, home to the likes of Scuttle and Travis Cut, will also be heading out on a major UK tour later in the year.
Punktastic caught up with bassist Sami who brought us up to speed. He said: “We’re
currently finishing off recording a seven track mini LP which is to be released on Firefly Records late July. It is taking longer to record than expected! Sod’s Law!
“We’re also due to be touring with Kids Near Water and Garrison in November for the Kids Near Water album tour.”
Not only that, but the mainstream music press is on their trail too, with a sidenote in this month’s Rock Sound magazine (take a bow Emily…) They even have a few (minor) celebrity friends in Drive Thru Records founders Richard and Stephanie Reines.
