Lagwagon are more than a cog in the machine

By Ben Tipple

Lagwagon are back with their first album in almost a decade, and their first new material since 2008’s ‘I Think My Older Brother Used to Listen to Lagwagon’ EP. ‘Hang’ reportedly sees Lagwagon inject a little metal into their signature pop-punk sound, with new single ‘The Cog In The Machine’ providing a taste of things to come.

“I think ‘The Cog In The Machine’ is the core sound of Lagwagon in our current state,” Joey Cape tells Noisey.

As they look towards their state-side tour with Swingin’ Utters and This Legend, and with ‘Hang’ scheduled for release on the 28th October via Fat Wreck Chords, Lagwagon are streaming ‘The Cog In The Machine’.
