Listen to loads of bands cover Eagles Of Death Metal for their Play It Forward campaign

Following the Paris attacks last month, Eagles of Death Metal launched the Play It Forward campaign, off the back of Duran Duran’s kindness. After the latter offered to donate any income from EODM’s cover of ‘Save A Prayer’ to support victims and families of the atrocities, EODM took it one step further.

They asked musical friends to record a version of their own ‘I Love You All The Time’, from the recent ‘Zipper Down’ LP, proceeds of which would be donated to The Sweet Stuff Foundation. Amazon, Apple, Spotify and Tunecore Distribution joined in on the action, pledging to donate proceeds received through the campaign to Friends of Fondations de France.

Needless to say, the project has drawn traction, with artists across various genres releasing cover versions of the track. The first wave includes Jimmy Eat World, as well as Savages, Kings of Leon and Florence + The Machine featuring The Maccabees.

All currently unveiled cover versions are available via the Spotify playlist below, or via iTunes and Prime. For more details, and to donate, head to the Play It Forward website.
