Wakefield ska/punk merchants Milk2Sugars are planning a fun packed 2003 and are to leave badger entrails all across the UK if they have anything to do with it. Or something. Anyway, Mackie told Punktastic just two mins ago that the band can’t wait to say hi to all their new found fans. “2001/2002 was a maturing period for us, so 2003 will be the year we evolve into something people expect of us,” he said. “Expect a mini UK tour in late August and September, we’re planning it now as we speak! We’ve had many offers and want to fulfill those! Oh and a proper recording of all our stuff, we’re still working on a few songs and will always be working to improve! Thanks SO much to everybody who has come to see us over the past year – it’s been great to see. A special mention goes to Punktastic as they’ve obviously given us the chance to be seen and heard much more than we expected, and we won’t forget that lads! So overall, I say on behalf of the band, we’re looking forward to this year greatly and can’t wait for our first gig of the new year which will be the Punktastic bash on 18th January. Rock on!”
