Manchester Orchestra announce new single and UK tour

By Glen Bushell

Manchester Orchestra will release their brilliant new single ‘Girl Harbor’ on the 29th September through Loma Vista Recordings and licensed by Caroline Records. The track is the third single to be taken from the band’s fourth album ‘COPE’, which was released to critical acclaim in March this year. You can check the track out below.

If that wasn’t enough, following huge demand for the band’s UK tour in April of this year, Manchester Orchestra will return to the UK with Brooklyn native and long-time Favorite Gentlemen Recordings label-mate Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band this autumn. Also on the bill will be Bad Books, which is comprised of both Kevin Devine and members of Manchester Orchestra. The dates for the tour are:

SEPTEMBER

26th – Portsmouth – Portsmouth Pyramids
27th – Bristol – Anson Rooms
28th – Norwich – Waterfront
29th – Nottingham – Rock City

OCTOBER

01 – Manchester – The Ritz
02 – Glasgow – 02 ABC
03 – Newcastle – O2 Academy
04 – Leeds – Metropolitan University
06 – Cardiff – University Students Union
07 – London – O2 Shepherds Bush Empire

Tickets for all dates are on sale now and can be picked up here.
