Mastodon have announced the release of their upcoming new EP, ‘Cold Dark Place’.
It features four previously unreleased songs, the first three recorded during the sessions for 2014’s ‘Once More Round the Sun’ and final track a left over cut from the sessions of their latest album ‘Emperor of Sand’. It will be released on the 22nd September via Reprise Records, with a limited picture disc release to follow soon after on the 27th October.
The band have also released a new video for ‘Steambreather’, which is taken from the aforementioned ‘Emperor of Sand’ released earlier this year.
The band will also be playing the following UK shows with Red Fang and Russian Circles this December.
