Nathan Detroit reveal new video ahead of EP release

By Ben Tipple

Nathan Detroit have announced the release of their forthcoming new EP, ‘Downcast’.

“So we have been a little quiet recently for a few reasons, trying to figure out how to progress with the band and with every day life starting to impact on writing and playing shows, we have decided to take a bit of time out from playing shows at this moment in time,” the band announced on Facebook. “It is not an easy decision to make but at times we lost sight of home life and over the past few weeks/months we have had a chance to refocus on home and it has helped a lot.”

The band continue to explain that they are no longer planning to tour throughout the Summer, however empathising that this is not the end.

“We never stopped feeling passionate about making music and although at times it has seemed like the new EP we recorded a while ago was never coming out, we knew there were rumours circulating about our future as well and today I want to address them head on,” they explain.

Nathan Detroit will be releasing their ‘Downcast’ EP via Speaking Tongues in a few weeks time. In anticipation the pop-punks have unveiled the title track and a new video.

“We really hope you enjoy the video, share it about and check back soon for more details about the EP. You will be hearing lots more from us very soon!”
