Strummerville have just released two new ltd tee shirts. The designs are based from Joe’s own artifacts:
Strummerville was set up after Joe’s death in 2002 by family and friends to cement the views that Joe believed in and to make sure as many people as possible have the chance to learn something from the man in years to come. The charity has continued to help, support and nurture new emering artists who wouldn’t have the possible means to record, rehearse, or to forge a career as an artist or band.
To celebrate the charity’s great work, Strummerville are releasing a small collection of very limited tee shirts. The designs of each tee shirt have been based on original artifacts from Joe Strummer’s personal items (Set lists, scrawled guitar packs and other personal notes)
Each design will be very limited. Printing only 101 shirts in each size, (S, M, L, XL) in reference to one of Joe’s early bands – The 101’ers. After the initial runs of 101 tees are sold, they will not be available or reprinted again. Making these tee shirts very ltd and a collector’s item for any fan.
The Tees will be printed on 100% fair-trade organic bamboo cotton and all profits will be used for further work in the Strummerville Charity.
