Nick leaves 215

Route 215 drummer Nick has decided to leave the band. He wrote this on the band’s forum: “Last night’s show at the Garage was my last show with Route 215 for a while. I’ve decided that I need a change of direction and need to live my life for a while rather than scrape along for 23 and a half hours every day being broke, bored and depressed (that’s only when we’re on tour – when we’re home, it’s 24/7) . The half an hour on stage is always awesome but even that isn’t enough to keep me going now. I am not going to be playing until at least December, when we will come back together and talk things through. Many many thanks to all of the people that have helped us out during my time with Route 215 and much love to all of the friends I have made during my time doing this, be they people in other bands or people who came to see us play. Its been a blast. My last duty is next monday to record the drums for two new songs, one of which will be on the Punktastic compilation and then I’ll be stepping down. Route 215 are still going strong and do have plans to take it to the next level, so please go out and support whenever and however you can! Thanks again, I look forward to seeing everyone down the front at a 215 show soon where I’ll be standing next to you with my fist in the air, singing every word.”
