Not Katies are coming to a town near you!

They kick ass and they’re coming to a town near you! The Not Katies are getting quite a reputation on Punktastic for being one of the UK’s best new bands, and they’ve lined up some shows just for you.

Speaking to Punktastic, Rich told us that he couldn’t wait to get things going. The first date is Friday 15th March @ The Corporation, Sheffield part of the Smash It Up Tour
which is co-endorsed by Deckcheese, Household Name and Jamdown Records and
show casing such punk talent as Lightyear, Jesse James and 4ft Fingers.

Rich said: “The tour has loads of dates all over the country and we have been kindly asked
to make the journey up north for one of the shows!”

But can we expect any tomfoolery from the boys? Is the Pope Catholic?

“As far as naked-ness goes Lightyear are infamous for it and Jesse James have been known to induce the odd bit of unclothed flesh! No one has yet has asked to see our fat
asses yet but you never know we’re suckers for peer pressure and crowd chanting!”

Gig two is on Saturday 16th March @ The Victoria, Swindon.

Rich added: “We have never played with these guys before but from what we have heard and what other people have said about them it should be a really great show. It’s a chance for us to play with another band who have a similar sound and we presume a similar fan base. Look out Swindon!”

Gig number three is on Sunday 17th March @ The Verge, Camden, a London punk all-dayer with such favourites as Kenesia, Howard’s Alias and label mates Fletcher.

Rich continued: “This one starts at 5pm and then straight through for an evening of punk mayhem in the capital. The Verge is starting to get quite a name for itself so this should be a relly amazing show, it’s part of Take Warning which specialises on punk shows in Camden.”

Finally we have the gig on Friday 29th March @ The White Horse, High Wycombe.

Rich said: “Yet more unchartered territory for the Not Katies this time supporting 4ft Fingers fresh from Smash It Up. It’s on a weekend so there’s absolutely no excuse not to go to this one… well unless you live really far away – you know it’s gonna rock
harder than Cliff Burton-era Metallica!”

So there you go. Everyone has to go to see this lot, go and say hi to them and tell them we sent you.
