It’s been quite a good year for the guys in Not Katies, releasing an album to critical acclaim and grabbing numerous high profile support slots. But if you thought this year was a good ‘un, just wait until next year… “It’s been a great year for us, probably the high point was getting signed to Deck Cheese, although it’s had strong contenders in the form of a support slot with The Movielife and Thursday, the sold out show at The Garage with Good Charlotte and of course, releasing our first album,” the band told Punktastic. “We have already been in negotiation with Bon Jovi’s ‘people’ about doing a possible world arena tour (apparently Jon and Richie love our work)… also we are touring with our friends in Phinius Gage throughout February which will coincide with the release of the single and we are planning on making a follow-up video to ‘2 Halves of 2’ but we’re not sure what track yet. It would be cool if people could get in touch with suggestions.” Oh, and they tip My Awesome Compilation for greatness! Good choice guys…
