Quiet Slang (Beach Slang’s James Alex) streams cover of Big Star’s ‘Thirteen’

Quiet Slang, the stripped down project of Beach Slang’s James Alex, has shared a cover of Big Star’s ‘Thirteen’ via Noisey.

It is taken from the upcoming new EP, ‘We Were Babies & We Were Dirtbags’. As well as the Big Star cover, it also features cello and piano versions of two Beach Slang songs, as well as a Replacements cover. It will be released on the 20th October via Big Scary Monsters (UK/EU) and Polyvinyl Recordings (US).
