Wondering why the Senses Fail ablbum hasn’t been released yet? Enter Drive Thru chief Stefanie Reines: “We have been asked this question a whole lot in the past few months, so here’s a brief explanation. SF recorded this CD last summer and we put it on the release schedule for Feb. 3, 2004. During the DTR tour, Geffen Records decided to “uplift” the band…a decision supported by the band and their manager. Geffen put the CD on hold in an attempt to get the band to write a “hit single.” That’s what happens on major labels…oh well. If things went according to our plan, the cd would’ve been out long ago. As for the continuing rumors about it coming out on Vagrant…we’re not selling the rights to Vagrant, so I don’t see that happening.”
