It’s already been heralded as one of the best albums of the year, although a little late to be included in any end of year lists. Now Baroness are now streaming the excellent ‘Purple’, and it really does have our team buzzing.
The band launched the #FindPurple campaign, with each track from the record being premiered on various music websites. Fans were asked to trawl social media for the hashtag to piece the album together, which they obliged.
Appearing on Noisey, Nerdist, Metal Injection, Drowned In Sound, Juxtapoz, Stereogum and Rolling Stone Australia, the puzzle has been completed. The new tracks join the already streaming ‘Chlorine & Wine‘, ‘Shock Me‘ and ‘Morningstar’.
To make it easier for fans, Baroness have posted a YouTube playlist of all the tracks in order. Enjoy.
‘Purple’ will be available from Friday 18th December 2015. It’s the first to feature new bassist Nick Jost and drummer Sebastian Thomson.
