I’m not usually inclined to do things like this, but as several forum regulars have been ripped off I’m going to expose them. A Bolton band called Slackjaw have been setting up a tour on the premise they are the American band of the same name. They are charging a large guarantee to cover the cost of flights, then turning up at gigs with distinct northern accents having not jetted in at all. Obviously several promoters have been duped by this ‘scam’ and you can read comments here. Just a word of warning to others so they know exactly what they have booked….
