Waking Ashland‘s Derek and Nick have quit the band. On their website the band write: “Derek and Nick are no longer playing with us. Some of you may be asking, Why? Well…In life you set priorities and 99% of the time music is not the top one. And rightfully so. There are many things that are more important than music. Sometimes something may happen or a decision you HAVE to make may affect something that you hold on a higher pedestal than music. When that time comes around, decisions have to be made. With that said, Derek and Nick have decided to stop playing music in Waking Ashland. Their reasons are completely understandable. Strong friendships were bult over the time in which they were in this band. We love those guys and will miss having them at our side everyday. We wish them both the best of luck.”
