WE ARE THE OCEAN and THE SWELLERS have been added to Groezrock festival 2012, alongside the first wildcard entry to gain a place on the Macbeth Stage, EXILE PARADE. All the bands will play the Macbeth stage. There’s an announcement that you can read below with the details of the next round of the Macbeth competition:
“Macbeth is psyched to announce that almost 500 bands entered the Groezrock 2012 competition! On February 21st we will announce the 20 remaining bands that have been selected by a professional jury.
These 20 bands enter into a popular vote competition in which they will have to get as many people as possible to vote for them. The more votes, the more chance you have of playing the Macbeth stage!
On March 10th Macbeth will announce the 10 bands with the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage at Groezrock 2012.
In the meantime we would like to share a little secret…
Macbeth have invited 2 special guests.

Besides that, the first wildcard went to Exile Parade (UK), “Britpop with a punkrock attitude!”.
There is one wildcard left and the winner of it will be announced on March 10th together with the 10 bands that will compete for a chance to play at the Macbeth stage at Groezrock 2012.”
