YC offer cancel explaination

By paul

Yellowcard vocalist Ryan key has given the reasons for cancelling the band’s December dates: “I wanted to let you all know the specifics regarding the UK shows that we had to cancel. First let me say that we would never cancel a show under any circumstances unless it was absolutely necessary. For the past month I’ve had something going on with my throat and I finally got a couple of days off and was able to see my doctor. Turns out I have what they call a nodule on my vocal chords. That’s about the worst news you can get. If we don’t take care of it now there is a serious risk of surgery which could put us out of commission for quite some time. We are so sorry to all of you that were coming to these shows but we want to come back and see you as much as possible next year so we are trying to fix the problem now. You will all get your tickets refunded and have first dibbs on tickets for the March shows. I promise we are not doing this just to get some time off. The shows were sold out and you don’t even know how excited we were when we got that news. Please forgive us and we hope to see you all in March.”
