Listen up you ‘orrible lot. This is the beef – on Sunday I’m doing the Manchester to Blackpool ride to raise money for blind kids and families. It’s 56 miles, and you can bet your bottom dollar I’m gonna get piss-wet through. I was meant to be doing it with Mike Newman, holder of the world record for blind land speed, but due to ill health he’s had to pull out, leaving me on my own with no sponsorship money.
