Zebrahead joining Slam Dunk South

By Tom Aylott

ZEBRAHEAD have been announced for Slam Dunk festival, but ONLY for the South event.

Slam Dunk said the following about the addition:

“We are very happy to announce we have Zebrahead joining us for the Southern date of Slam Dunk Festival this year! Now, this is not something we normally allow. We are very aware this is going to cause some upset amongst you guys that they are only playing SDF South, hence why we never normally allow this to happen. BUT – there’s a reason. Zebrahead are already booked to play a festival in Germay on the Saturday, so there is no way they can play SDF North. But they are our friends and they were dying to play and we were dying to have them so this was the only way round it. We have also taken onboard peoples comments on the lack of Ska this year as well – please remember the Festival was very Ska heavy last year and we try to bring a different and varied line-up each year, on top of that bands have year-round commitments and tour schedules all over the world, sometimes it not as easy as ‘get them over’. But we have listened and read to all your comments and we are working very hard to bring you the best line-up for everyone!”
