Goodbye Blue Monday share their gritty, in depth and anthemic debut EP, ‘The Sickness. The Shame’

By Aaron Lohan

We at Punktastic are exclusively streaming ‘The Sickness. The Shame’, the debut EP by Glasgow band Goodbye Blue Monday.

This three track record shows off the band’s gritty, honest and anthemic punk style, which is in-debt to the likes of The Menzingers, Dear Landlord and Iron Chic. Thematically, it tackles issues related to mental health and general wellbeing. The band self-recorded it with mastering/mixing done by John Harcus.

‘The Sickness. The Shame’ by Goodbye Blue Monday will be released on limited CD and digitally this Friday 24th February via Make That a Take Records. All proceeds from this sale of this EP will go towards aiding the Samaritans. The band will also be playing the following UK shows.
