A Vulture Wake, Gods of Mount Olympus, Skipjack @ Legacy Brewing, Oceanside, California

Where would a punk “supergroup” perform in San Diego? You might think a band that featured Chad Price (ALL, Drag The River), Joe Raposo (Lagwagon, The Real McKenzies, RKL), Sean Sellers (Good Riddance, The Real McKenzies), and Brandon D. Landelius (The Mag Seven) would be playing a sold out show in a large room. But here they were, A Vulture Wake, playing a show on a Saturday night in a small brewery tasting room in suburban Oceanside. And they were killing it, just like they would at the bigger venue. They were supported by local band Gods of Mount Olympus, with a visiting Zach Quinn (Pears) filling in on bass for the regular player. Opening the night were Skipjack, Slabratory Clothing’s “house band.” It was Slabratory that put the whole night together.
