Bristol’s The Run Up play a style of emotive pop punk reminiscent of one played by several bands along the West Coast of the United States. So, it was apt that their first show on their US tour out to The Fest 18 would begin in San Diego, California. It was the first time on the left side of the US for the UK band, but they fit right in. They played songs for their brand new LP, as well as from earlier releases. Joining them for part of their journey to Gainesville is Lansing, Michigan’s Foxgrave, and opening this show was San Diego’s City Windows.
