After releasing their widely publicised concept album at the start of the year, Against Me! have been gathering momentum ever since. With attention surrounding the album previously focused on Laura Jane Grace’s gender dysphoria, Against Me! are now preparing to let the music do the talking.
Alongside the previously announced European Tour, the band today announced their full return to UK shores at this year’s Download Festival. They join the likes of Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold and Fall Out Boy on an already impressive line-up.
To celebrate we’ve got an Against Me! bonanza, including an exclusive interview recorded in Banquet Records, a full set from the in-store performance recorded by us and hosted by our good friends at Xtra Mile, and details of their next single.

We caught up with Against Me! vocalist and guitarist Laura Jane Grace shortly before she took to the temporary stage in Kingston’s Banquet Records store to discuss the album, its concept, and the impending live shows.

New Single: ‘Unconditional Love’
Against Me! will be releasing their new single, ‘Unconditional Love’ as a 7″ picture disc on the 26th May 2014 and digitally on the 9th June. The single will feature the brand new track, ‘500 Years’. ‘Unconditional Love’ coincides with the band’s slot on the Pepsi Max Stage at Download Festival, and their forthcoming EU tour.
