Having released their self-titled seven track EP last year, Belfast based noise-pop outfit Abandcalledboy – previously known simply as Boy – have unveiled their latest track, ‘LA Dick’.
Although retaining the heavier sounds more familiar with the likes of Mclusky or Future Of The Left, Abandcalledboy aren’t ashamed to bring the pop elements to the forefront, resulting in something than attempts to merge newer Weezer with the aforementioned, fails spectacularly, and ends up sounding uniquely brilliant because of it.
‘LA Dick’ will be available from the 31st July 2015.
