By Glen Bushell

Abbath, the former front man of black metal icons Immortal, has unveiled a professionally shot live video of a track by his new band…Abbath. The crushing ‘Fenrir Hunts’ is taken from Abbath’s forthcoming debut album, which is due for release in January via Season Of Mist. The band will also play a release show in London on January 23rd at the Forum, which you can pick up tickets for now.

“We have performed ‘Fenrir Hunts’ live since our debut concert at Tuska Festival in Finland” states Abbath in the press release. “This led to the decision to record a few live songs properly. With the aid of a camera team, we have recorded three tracks in a live setting at the beginning of September. Along with “Fenrir Hunts”, which you can see today, there will be two cover versions coming up soon. Now, here is “Fenrir Hunts”, the first glimpse from our upcoming debut album!”

You can watch the footage of ‘Fenrir Hunts’ below, and we will keep you posted on the release date and pre-orders for the new album.
