American Football are streaming a live version of their previously unreleased track ‘The 7’s’. The track arrives shortly before the band release a deluxe version of their self-titled debut, which has reached cult status since its original release back in 1999.
Despite only playing a handful of shows, and releasing a 3-track EP in 1998, American Football have continued to draw in fans and critical acclaim over the last 15 years.
The Deluxe Edition includes a collection of unreleased material, following the discovery of lost tapes by guitarist Steve Holmes. It will feature new photographs and band pictures, lyrics and new details written by the band. Scheduled for release on the 20th May, the record will be available as a limited edition 2xLP of 2,000 copies on 180-Gram Green/Yellow Vinyl exclusive to the Polyvinyl webstore, unlimited 180-Gram red vinyl, 2xCD and on cassette.
The additional disc will include 10 previously unreleased tracks and live recordings.
