An awesome studio update

Andy from My Awesome Compilation emailed me last night to say that everything is going great from the studio. The band are currently in LA recording their as-yet-untitled new mini album due out on Bravestar in the Autumn. The band wanted me to pass this on for all of you to read: “We’re on day 5 of 8 and are working hard on the vocals and guitars today. It’s safe to say that this recording kicks ass already! we are the first English band to enter big fish studios and although we were a bit intimidated and nervous at first, we soon settled down and its been great fun. The producer Ben Moore is a real great guy. He has produced the latest Rocket from the Crypt album and has also worked with Noise Ratchet and Counterfeit so we are in very good hands. It’s strange to think we are in the same recording studio as Jimmy Eat World, one of our fave bands, and Blink 182. even Stevie Wonder has played the piano we have used on our songs! We can’t wait to finish the record now and get to the mix down. we’re sure
you’ll like it as Ben has pushed us harder than ever before and its been a real great learning experience. Our newest song I think really hits the spot and I’m sure for lovers out there its gonna be a favourite!”
