Arcane Roots streaming new track, ‘If Nothing Breaks, Nothing Moves’

By Ben Tipple

Arcane Roots are streaming their new track, ‘If Nothing Breaks, Nothing Moves’, online for 48 hours, following its premiere on BBC Radio 1 earlier this evening.

Accompanied by an in-studio interview, the track is available to stream via The Independent.

“The grand plan is to get these songs stuck in people’s heads for days,” says vocalist and guitarist Andrew Groves to The Independent. “It’s that fight between the melodies and the heavier side of our music and trying to get those two elements to marry together. The problem is when you start sticking loads of riffs together without melody, then it just sounds like a bunch of riffs that have been shoved together rather than a song that’s actually going somewhere.”

With the official video scheduled to drop tomorrow (Monday 27th July), Arcane Roots will be releasing their new ‘Heaven & Earth’ EP on the 16th October via Sony Red.
