Rage Against The Machine recently launched a countdown on their Prophets Of Rage website, taking fans up to the 1st June 2016. Billboard are now reporting the meaning behind the accompanying #TakeThePowerBack hashtag, which has also appeared on posters around their hometown of Los Angelas.
According to Billboard, sources have confirmed that it’s all referencing a new supergroup, Prophets of Rage. It will apparently see three quarters of Rage Against The Machine (not vocalist Zack de la Rocha) join forces with Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill.
The band look set to make their debut live appearance on the 3rd June at the Hollywood Palladium.
