Ataris say ‘So Long Historia!’

The Ataris have announced that their long awaited new record is to be called ‘So Long Historia’.

Frontman Kris Roe told fansite www.theataris.com that the record, their first for Columbia Records, will be released in 2003.

This new information contradicts earlier rumours which suggested the album would be named ‘Don’t Ever Compromise What You Believe’.

Two songs already earmarked for the record are ‘The Saddest Song’ and the Don Henley cover, ‘Boys Of Summer’. This is still to be confirmed. The unreleased ‘Radio 2’ could also make an appearance.

Thanks to my buddy Jay for the info!
