Barren Womb stream ‘Evil Prevails’ to celebrate album release

By Ben Tipple

To mark the release of their new full-length ‘The sun’s not yellow, it’s chicken’, Norwegian hardcore outfit Barren Womb are streaming another track from the record.

“The soothing breeze of a lazy summer day. A newborn baby sleeping safely in its mother’s arms. A moment of creativity. A glimpse of greatness. Compassion. Freedom. Love. The human condition can truly be a thing of beauty. Most of the time though, evil prevails,โ€ says Barren Wombโ€™s Tony Gonzahl about ‘Evil Prevails’. โ€œThis song deals with the dangers of trading values and beliefs into currency, be it money, power or any other superficial bullshit. Selling out, basically.โ€

‘The sun’s not yellow, it’s chicken’ is available from today. We will have a review online shortly, but in the meantime it is well worth your time.
