BBC Sound Of 2015 announces longlist

The BBC have announced the longlist for the annual Sound Of poll, allowing selected industry insiders to vote for the biggest acts expected to break through come 2015.

Compiled by BBC News, the list asks around 140 pundits including DJs, critics, broadcasters and bloggers (including yours truly) for their selection. These are then narrowed down to 15 acts for the longlist, before the top five are revealed in January.

This year’s longlist, announced today, includes 13 acts from the UK – including Punktastic ones to watch, Slaves.
