Due for release on the 27th May via Saddle Creek, Big Thief are streaming their ‘Masterpiece’ LP in full. According to vocalist Adrianne Lenker, the record represents “the process of harnessing pain, loss, and love, while simultaneously letting them go, looking into your own eyes through someone else’s, and being okay with the inevitability of death.”
Their sound, rooted in the acoustic invention of Lenker, harnesses a healthy folk influence as well as their subtle edge that defines much of the Saddle Creek roster.
