Busdrivers make Sterling last effort

By paul

Gainesville ska-punks and Punktastic faves, The Busdrivers, are to play their last Gainesville show with lead singer Sterling Stokes on June 8.

Erin from the band dropped us an email to tell us all the details about the show.

She said: “We’re playing a cheap-ass show on Saturday June 8 at The Side Bar here in
Gainesville. This is the last opportunity to come out to a home town show with Sterling, the OG Busdrivers frontman.

“It’s all ages, $3, doors at 8
PM. Also playing are our Gainesville sisters One Pump Chump, No Cigar (sisters from Atlanta), and Suzie 9 Iron (no relation to us, making them
cooler). The Side Bar is at 15 SW 2nd Ave, incase anyone didn’t know.

“We’re also very excited that the Spitvalves begged us to play their CD release show – Saturday June 29 at the House of Blues in Orlando! Doors at
7, five bucks, all ages, and also playing is Blind Luck.”

Oh, and for those in any doubt as to the band’s future..

“Just to quell any rumors, we are not breaking up! Just looking for a few new members. We’ll keep you posted!”
