Catheter are streaming their whole album on Stereokiller

By James Brown

Ahead of its release on Tuesday next week (May 1), Catheter have put their whole album up on their Stereokiller page for you to have a listen.

Titled Southwest Doom Violence, this is their third full-length album and it’s also their first LP for 7 years, since they Dimension 303 back in 2005.  They’ve crammed 17 tracks into just under 35 minutes, and we’re just gonna quote from the album’s bio — the new record is “so obliteratingly heavy that upon first listen you’ll quickly forgive them for the delay since the last album, and immediately tear your own head off in utter joy.”  Take a listen and try to avoid auto-decapitating yourself.
