Could anything else have actually gone wrong?

So for those of you who don’t know, this is PB4 in a nutshell: Words cannot describe how low I’m feling at the minute after some scumbags stole 5 guitars, various effects pedals and a bag with van keys and a mobile phone in from Josephs Well last night. Fallout 40 were worst hit losing 2 bass guitars and 2 guitars, while Hitechjet and Milk2Sugars also had stuff stolen. Not only that but while Stapleton were playing the equipment decided to stop working, meaning they got a 15-minute set after travelling from Glasgow. Cue pissed off people looking for someone to take it out on. I just want to apologise for anyone who had anything stolen or had a bad night, I feel responsible as it was my show even though I know I couldn’t have done anything about any of it. I do want to thank everyone who helped me try and keep things going, especially the Killerest guys, people who sat on the door while I spoke to the police and the lads who had stuff stolen. Well over 100 people did have a good time and it was because of the efforts of a lot of people that things carried on, albeit a long way behind schedule. If anyone saw anything or has any information about the thefts, please get in touch with me by email at paul@punktastic.com The police are looking into it and we did have an ID of a suspect and the car they escaped in so if you read this, we’re gonna get you. Not only did you ruin the night for a lot of bands, but you’ve put the future of Punktastic Bashes into doubt – right now I don’t ever want to do one again. I really hope that whatever drug you’re gonna get off on was well worth it.
