Our favourite space rock band, Failure, have announced plans for their ‘Fantastic Planet’ 20th Anniversary tour.
The band will head out around the U.S this October, following a similar route to the tour they undertook in August 1996, the year of the album’s release. Seen as a milestone for not just the band, but the whole alternative rock world in general, ‘Fantastic Planet’ features some of Failures most beloved tracks, including ‘The Nurse Who Loved Me’, ‘Saturday Savior’, and the breakthrough hit, ‘Stuck On You’.
โAs much as we were trying to create a new and unique sound with Fantastic Planet, itโs also an homage to the pioneers of the Long-Play format” explains Failure vocalist, Ken Andrews. “In the age of streaming playlists, itโs comforting for us to know that others share our love for the Album as art form.โ
Failure reunited in 2014, playing critically acclaimed shows across the US and Europe, and last year released their comeback album, ‘The Heart Is A Monster’.
