There’s rarely a statement more obvious. Bearing criticism of genre abandonment, Fall Out Boy’s latest material has undoubtedly see them move further into pop territory.
Having announced a co-headline tour alongside rapper Wiz Khalifa stateside, the Chicago four-piece are taking a similar stance in the UK.
Rather than picking out of what could be considered “alternative”, Fall Out Boy have opted to bring British rapper Professor Green and New York based electro-pop duo Matt and Kim along for the ride.
Are Fall Out Boy alternative? Does that matter? Judging by these supports, it doesn’t matter to them – that’s for sure.
