“So, you have two hard working bands on your label, both have toured intensely for their previous full length albums, and now have material for a couple of new songs. Before we even managed to mention, ‘split record’, Idle Class and Fights And Fires had already played a couple of show together, and brought up the idea themselves,” Emil Bjorkander of Swedish label Blackstar Foundation explains.
And with it comes Blackstar Foundation’s final release. Showcasing two tracks by the UK’s Fights and Fires, and two by Germany’s Idle Class, the limited edition presses will be available from the 17th October 2014 in the UK and a week earlier in mainland Europe.
The pair of bands are streaming a track each ahead of the release via SoundCloud.
