Finally a use for the Dome

By Andy

The Game On event is taking place at the Millenium Dome in Greenwich, London on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd June. Apparently it’s a weekend of skate-related shenanigans with “The biggest Skate Bowl ever built, with dimensions of 50ft x 70ft x 15ft deep.” Pro skaters confirmed for the Soul Bowl competition include Steve Cabellero, Rune Glifberg, Brian Patch, Omar Hassan, Jake Brown, Mike Crum, & Shaun White with many other pro riders to be confirmed very soon. The Bowl will also be blessed with the BMX skills of riders such as Matt Hoffman, Jamie Bestwick, Eduardo Terroes, Simon Tabron, Zach Shaw and more to be confirmed.
The Osiris Street Section will also play host to the best of the UK’s
pro-skate teams across the duration of the weekend. Board companies Minute, Death, Heroin, Ortega, Blueprint, Panic, Clown, Unabomber and Reaction Skateboards are just some that have been invited to the comp so far with more on the way.
Of course the bands are what’s important, and on the bill are Cypress Hill, The Vandals, Reef, Kelly Osbourne, Electric Six, Division Of Laura Lee, Mad Capsule Markets, Sparta, Sick Of It All, and The Warlocks.
Tickets are £12.50 for one day or £20 for both.
