My hands are tired…so here’s the Moon Ska Europe newsletter in full, complete with tour dates for the forseeable future:
KING PRAWN and WHITMORE announce new UK Tour
King Prawn and Whitmore return to the road, on the second leg of their UK tour. The dates kick off on Wednesday 1st May at the Mean Fiddler (LA2) and runs through to Wednesday 5th June when the tour concludes at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms.
King Prawn will have an exclusive “Tour Only” CD Single on sale at all the gigs, and it goes without saying it WILL NOT be available in the shops. We don’t have the title of the songs featured on this CD single yet, but can tell you they are from the bands forthcoming studio album “Got The Thirst” that will finally be available later in the year.
On the Whitmore front, the groups debut album “Smoke The Roach” release date has been put back again to coincide with the bands co-headline (with a well known British skate punk band) tour in September. The band’s second CD EP “Nine Bar Blues” will be available at the shows and like the King Prawn single will not be on sale in shops. It will be available from the Moon Ska Online Store during the tour, and when the tour finishes both the bands EP’s “Nine Bar Blues” and “260” will be deleted.

[spunge] release their new single “Jump On Demand” on Monday 3rd June 2002 on B-Unique Records. The band have also added two new dates to their forthcoming tour a headline appearance at the Metal Hammer Midsummer Nightmare Festival at the Phoenix in Plymouth on Saturday 1st June, as well as turning out at the Xtreme Festival at Dublins RDS venue on Saturday 29th June…..other dates below.
