Frameworks are back with ‘Time Spent’

By Ben Tipple

Frameworks’ 2014 LP ‘Loom’ is hands down one of the greatest records of recent years. It easily cemented them as the forerunners of modern day screamo, acting as a big part of a forceful post-hardcore movement that put a lost edge back into the genre.

The Gainesville outfit are now back with ‘Time Spent’, a two track 7″ due on the 5th February via Topshelf Records.

The title track sees the band experiment with synths, retaining the powerful violence that dominates other material. It’s a tantalising look at things to come with their next full-length later in 2016.

Pre-order ‘Time Spent’ now.
