Girlpool unveil ‘Blah Blah Blah’ from forthcoming EP

By Ben Tipple

Remember that 90s British pop-duo Shampoo? They did that song about being in trouble, and bursting bubbles?

Well, take their twee pop and potentially grating vocals, ramp up their mischievous attitude and throw in some serious grit and you’re coming close to experiencing Girlpool.

On ‘Blah Blah Blah’, it’s excellent.

The 2 minute track is taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP, and follows their dark and bluesy ‘Jane’.

The LA duo will be heading to UK shores in November, having just added a free headline show at The Shacklewell Arms and a show atBrudenell Social Club in Leeds as part of Gold Sounds Festival.
