Submitted: “Matt Davies, lead singer of post hardcore crew Funeral For A Friend, has been struck down with glandular fever. Sadly this has meant the cancellation of a number of shows (the final date of their recent soldout UK trek at Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms on July 30 and upcoming gigs at Bridgend Tollhouse on Aug 19 and Merthyr RMS Rock Club on Aug 20). The band are devastated at having to let down fans who expected to catch them at these shows, and have promised to reschedule as soon as possible. (Indeed the Portsmouth date has already been reorganised for Sept 3). Funeral For A Friend will be fit and ready for action by the Reading/Leeds weekend, and hope to see plenty of friendly faces at the shows! Their eagerly anticipated debut album, ‘Casually Dressed and Deep In Conversation’ will be released on Infectious Records on Oct 13.”
