Happy Accidents stream new track, ‘Facts and Figures’

By Ben Tipple

With their brilliant ‘You Might Be Right’ LP due this Friday [1st July 2016], Happy Accidents have unveiled their latest track ‘Facts and Figures’.

The track is about “how deflating the daily news cycle can be,” Rich Mundell tells Clash, who are premiering the track. “We’re constantly barraged with tragedy of all scales in the papers; but it often seems so routine that it’s easy to feel immune to it. We recorded the song last year but it’s felt particularly apt in the last two weeks. It’s really about trying to stay positive when the outside world is too much to handle.”

One of the stand-outs from the record, it encapsulates the record’s balance between upbeat indie-punk and self-punishing lyrics.

Head over to Clash now to stream ‘Facts and Figures’ by Happy Accidents.
