itoldyouiwouldeatyou have unveiled the official video for ‘Get Out Of Bed’, the first track to appear from their forthcoming EP due on the 23rd September through Failure By Design Records.
“In short, I was depressed and didn’t want to get up,” says vocalist Joey Ashworth. “I tried not to obsess and I couldn’t, I tried not to despair and I couldn’t. Instead I put all my effort and hope into a relationship, which, sidenote, no one should do ever. This song is about recognising that desperation and having a go at shrugging it off in a self-aware way.”
